Product Review: 2024 Marvel Fleer Ultra Wolverine Blaster Boxes (Upper Deck)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4 out of 5 stars)

If you’re a fan of Wolverine, premium trading cards, or simply love a good card rip with some surprises inside, the 2024 Marvel Fleer Ultra Wolverine Blaster Boxes by Upper Deck deliver a satisfying mix of nostalgia, bold art, and solid collectability.

🔥 The Basics

Each blaster box contains 3 thick packs, each with 6 cards—though don’t be surprised if you occasionally get more (or less!). These inconsistencies may be frustrating to some collectors, but they also add a bit of intrigue and unpredictability to the experience.

🖼 Card Quality & Design

The standout feature of this product is the card design. The cards feel premium in hand, similar in thickness and texture to the Midnight Sons set. You’ll find stunning original artwork across a range of inserts including:

  • Puzzle cards (3x3 pieces)

  • Ultra Pop Culture inserts

  • Ultra Stars

  • Aliases

  • Greatest Battles

  • Medallion cards

  • Family Genealogy

  • Ultrabilities

The art on cards like Deadpool, X23, Rogue, and Sabretooth is especially eye-catching, and the themed inserts (like Wolverine vs Magneto or Cyclops Medallion) are collector-worthy.

📦 Pulls & Inserts

What’s impressive is the number of hits per box. Out of just a half-case (10 boxes), we pulled:

  • 10 numbered yellow foil cards (out of 90)

  • Multiple Ultra Stars skinny cards

  • At least two Pop Culture cards (Sabretooth and Thanos)

  • Several puzzle pieces toward the 9-piece Wolverine/Hulk image

The Pop Culture inserts were a standout surprise and seem to be rarer than most others—pulling two back-to-back after going through a fourth of the case is noteworthy.

🎯 Value for Money

At around $35 per box, the value is fair. You’re getting a limited set (3 packs per box), but the card stock, art, and insert variety make up for it. Also, with consistent numbered pulls and some highly collectible cards (especially with the X-Men and Wolverine resurgence in pop culture), there’s potential here for both enjoyment and ROI.

⚠️ A Few Drawbacks

  • Pack inconsistencies: Some packs had missing or extra cards, which can be a concern for strict collectors.

  • Numbered card visibility: Yellow foils aren’t always easy to spot as numbered—easily missed if not checked closely.

  • Green foils remain a mystery: The box mentions yellow parallels, but the green ones aren’t explained, adding confusion to the rarity/value.

📦 Final Thoughts

Upper Deck’s Marvel Fleer Ultra Wolverine 2024 blaster boxes are a great rip for fans who enjoy flashy artwork, unique inserts, and a little mystery in each pack. The quality is there, the hits are frequent, and the collectability is strong—especially if you’re into Wolverine, Deadpool, or X-Men.

Would recommend for both casual collectors and serious Marvel fans looking for a mid-priced, high-reward card break.

Bonus Tip: Check those side seams—sometimes a “fat” pack hides an extra card or something spicy.
